Sekelo Oil Trading (Pty) Ltd (Sekelo) is a level 2 B-BBEE oil trading company founded in 2016. The company is majority Black-Owned with over 30% Black-Woman ownership. Sekelo is a leading strategic B-BBEE business partner of choice that offers tailored solutions in our areas of expertise.
We do this through supplying energy responsibly, having high safety standards and ethical business practices, in partnership with our clients for the sustainable economic development of our communities.
Sekelo Oil Trading is a subsidiary of Thebe Energy and Resources, a division of Thebe Investment Corporation. The Thebe Energy and Resources division holds both upstream (exploration and production) assets such as coal mining and gas field developments, as well as downstream assets such as South Africa’s largest oil refinery and fuel distribution network.
Sekelo Oil Trading is 53% Black-owned and 33% Black women owned and is deeply committed to community development and inclusion.
